I hail from the Pacific Northwest but have lived in New York for 8 years (9 if you're a rounder-upper).

If I were stuck on a desert island and had an unlimited supply of fresh water I would absolutely take a good IPA as my sole additional beverage. I'm not picky, the hoppier the better.
